Current medical practices are minimal compared to previous processes. The six month checkup relies primarily on the blood test to identify any problems. Previous primary care physicians provided a complete physical besides listening to my heart and lungs. It is all about the numbers and $$$. Moving patients along quickly to get to the next one to keep the physician's numbers up.
