Fabulous physician, extremely knowledgeable in vast array of subjects, including cardiac conditions! He may well have found an explanation for extreme exhaustion which has plagued me for years--sleep apnea! Potentially life-changing preliminary diagnosis. He worked with me to find right meds that I can tolerate. I like him enormously and feel secure that he is a highly skilled, insightful heart doctor with my best interests at heart.

Problem with getting wheel chair through OT department.

This was my first visit, so Dr is learning my history and he reviewed records from Ascension which I brought to him. This is first contact I had with office for me as patient. I appreciated his concern, reassurance, clear expertise.

As Dr. Bernstein pointed out, there has been no communication between my electrophysicist at SSM and him since I had my pacemaker procedure last fall. While I realize that this is not on him, I continue to bemoan the reality that the pissing match between Aurora and SSM harms patients, interferes with continuity of care, and so much more. I wish it would stop, and that I could stop being the go-between between my providers in order to get competent care and advice.
