Lab times should be better co-ordinated with doctor visits. Shouldn't have to wait and hour to take a urine test. Better consideration needed to assess pain levels other than just saying no to any pain meds.

I'm never told what I need to do to to address my health concerns.

Dr. Halstrom was concerned about my blood pressure. Prescribed water pills that have help with the random headaches. He also wants to follow up. I also asked for weight loss medication and he explained in detail why it wouldn't be good for me due to my health conditions. Gave me a diet plan and exercise suggestions. Also, I have recommended my daughter to see him and she is also very pleased with his care.

The medical assistant that took my vitals raced me through the process. It was less than 2 minutes from the time I walked into the exam room until the time she had the blood pressure cuff on my arm. I always read that a patient should have both feet on the floor and relaxing for 5 minutes before a blood pressure reading is done.
