Blood work should be done prior to visit not after. I was ordered a prescription that I had no idea I was going to get. All my previous records state something like "continue same" this time a prescription for a statin. I would think I was at least told to speak to a dietitian and someone about my diet and asked about my stress. I wasn't even asked about my stress levels. I also had my blood pressure medicine doubled for no reason other than my blood pressure was high. I would have thought there would have been something said to me to prevent it getting higher ot a reason that it got higher. I was asked if I ate healthy and I said yes - I guess not if both my blood pressure and cholesterol were high enough to be put on additional medications.. I now have to look for a doctor that can explain all of this to me.
