Dr. Heezen is amazing, he took care of my mother as if she was his own family! He listened intently, took the time even though he was behind schedule, he explained things clearly and ensured that we both understood what was being done and next steps.
My visit to see Dr Heezen was my first...he will be my new primary doctor. I was left with the feeling that I was in very good hands...and (voila!) he was pretty easy for me to understand (my hearing is awful). I hope to have some more info/ health direction after Dr Heezen has had a chance to review the labs he ordered. I did mention a number of health issues I have and am concerned about...shortness of breath/coughing, Crohn's diarrhea/constipation, restless legs, low energy. I left his office feeling comfortable that he was going to address my concerns after he has checked out the labs he ordered, and maybe given more thought to our office discussion that is possible in a 30 minutes appointment.
If by some instance your provider could not see you at your scheduled appointment, that you should not have to wait 2 weeks to reschedule. Because we have to schedule our workload around the appointment when we set the first one up. A week is fine though. I must say that the nurses I had were excellent and very caring about what they had to do for me. As an elder person that means a lot. They also did a great job with my medication at the Pharmacy. To bad they did not have Saturday hours at Aurora Pharmacy, I would switch. Thank You
Dr. Heezen is very congenial and knowledgeable. He is an excellent physician. I have recommended him to several friends.

I always feel well taken care of by Dr. Heezen . He listens , when I ask questions or suggestions for things pertaining mostly to arthritis etc . He helps me to understand different things I can do to help promote health & comfort especially during flare ups . I appreciate his care & willingness to listen & advise .
Dr. Heezen is extremely polite and kind. He is well versed and prepared when he comes into the room. He also is very good at explaining things and will draw a diagram to help with the explanation. I am confident, that following the appointment, we are on the same page.
