Reviewed my medical records and addressed an issue unrelated to my visit.
I have been a patient of Dr. Singh's for nearly 20 years. I have built a comfortable Dr. Patient relationship. However, the amount of wait time at the Olympia Fields office is unacceptable. I waited 2 hours and 45 minutes to see Dr. Singh. I had a 2:30 appointment that I took a half day of work to make happen. I checked in at 2:15 as per office instructions. I was in an examining room at 4:40 ish and was walking out at 5:00. I feel the lack of respect for patients time is unacceptable. This was not a one time occurrence, this has become the norm. I have made an appointment with a new PCP, as I feel I deserve someone who respects me and my time as a patient. Dr.Singh has provided me outstanding care throughout my adult life, but I'm finding myself avoiding appointments due to the amount of time I have to allot for wait time. I have had an appointment at Northwestern in Chicago, had a procedure and met with a doctor and returned home in less time that I waited for a routine appointment at the Olympia Fields office, so I have experienced the workings and scheduling of an efficient office, so I know it can be done. I have high expectations my medical care providers, and currently the performance at the Advocate office is sub par.
Other than the time I had to wait to see the Doctor it was a good visit.
Dr Singh is a very good doctor he's been my doctor for 26 years
Excellent service, no long waiting time. In and out in record time.
First time seeing Dr Singh
Absolutely horrible to wait 90 min to be seen for a prescheduled appointment for a physical. I will not be returning again.
Will make earlier appointments in the future. Place is very busy.
The experience with Dr. Singh was great. His nurse was rude. SHe was just pointing and speaking as I was following her I nearly walked into another patients room as she only pointed and never spoke until she could not find my pre op order and then a surgery person came in asking questions I sat for 15-20 minutes then the surgery came back in and stated surgery was not finalized and that the doctor would still see me. Its important for nurses to talk to patients so they understand what is happening and what they doing before the provider comes in.
Excellent
