Dr. Narcisa Surucci has been my PC for over 20 years, first at Swedish Covenant Hospital, then at St. Joseph's Hospital, and now at Advocate. I will follow here wherever she goes. She is an exceptional M.D., and always takes time. She does not rush you and explains everything very thoroughly.

Did not seem to be the most knowledgeable person. She stated facts & was not open for discussion. I was O K with it because she said she was going to give me an antibiotic & eye drops which is what I needed. I thought I could always contact my Primary's office if I needed anything else.

All the staff are helpful, clear in communicating what they need from me, polite. The medical staff doing the initial preliminary exam tasks such as taking weight, blood pressure, etc. were also clear in communicating what the would do before they acted. Dr Surucci is easy to talk to - like a friend. She listens and uses comforting words when appropriate.
Excellent medical care from a very experienced, knowledgeable and empathetic doctor. Takes the time to explain everything and makes sure I'm comfortable with the plan of treatment.
This was my first visit with Dr. Narcisa Surucci and she really listened to me and her and her staff treated me with kindness and respect. I asked Dr. Surucci If she would be my primary care physician because I didn't have one and she said yes. I am very grateful to have Dr. Surucci as my new doctor.
