The doctor and nurse were very caring and spent a lot of time with me. I did not feel rushed and they were on time.
I have been a patient of Dr Martin for a long time. She is very knowledgeable and personable. She explains the importance of any medication that she prescribes for me. She takes her time to ensure that I understand the importance of the medication and keep me updated on all shots and preventative labs/tests/mammograms.
Unfortunately advocate will no longer accept my blue cross PPO insurance. I have been seeing advocate doctors for years but will now need to go to Rush or Northwestern or Edward Elmhurst doctors because of the insurance issue.
Dr. Martin and her intake staff were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The woman at the registration desk could use some customer service skills. She didn't greet me, told me to give her a second and never looked at me until I was fully registered and she was done with me. This is your first point of contact when going to a doctor's appt - which can be stressful. A warm greeting and welcoming communication will help to put patients at ease.
