Dr. Dobberpuhl did the procedures necessary in a professional manner. He assured me I would know what was happening as he performed the procedures . Dr. D made sure I needed to call the office if there were any concerns or changes in the healing process.

The doctor appeared to be less than thrilled about providing insight on preventative measures about ringing and static in my ears when around loud surroundings. He said my hearing test was normal and his exam was normal. He didn't provided any preventative measures and was about to send me on my way until I said "am I supposed to live with this the rest of my life?" That's when he said the ear is complex and said if I wanted to get a cat scan I could. A friend who is an NP for an ENT provided more insight on what causes tinnitus. A term that wasn't even explained to me but it was diagnoses as such in my chart. He is a very dry personality doctor with no explanation of any sort for my problem and potentially how to fix it.

The male ENT I saw was not only rude but offered no help. He put a camera into my nose to check and after it was out he immediately started speaking and when I asked for a moment, he stared at me and started to speak down to me for not understanding after 2 seconds of having a camera come out of my nose. Any question I had for him, he spoke to me as if I questioned his entire career. He offered no solutions and questioned me on every answer as if I was lying. He was very dismissive of my questions and concerns and I'm not going to lie, I cried in the parking lot after how rudely he treated me after just trying to get help after a year of dealing with the same issue. He also got my end summary wrong and stated I do not smoke, though my records show that I do and when he asked me I said yes. He really needs to be reevaluated. The front desk ladies were spectacular though.
