Overall I felt like I had to coax answers out of my provider. It was clear that we weren't sure, even after some examination, what was the cause behind my issue, and therefore unclear on how to fix it. That's fine - I know it might take some work to figure it all out, and I'm okay with that. But I had to ask a lot of questions in order to get any answers. Another way to put it: I feel like other providers that I've seen speak a lot to me about what they are seeing, what they know, what they don't know, and what some options are. I was waiting for this "schpeel", but felt like it never came, so I had to probe to get some of those answers out. The provider was friendly and knowledgeable, and I did feel listened to and heard. My frustration is with my medical issue, not so much with the provider - except that I feel that the communication could have been a bit more open, more forthcoming.
