I was his last patient maybe he was just tired I also had to wait 2 hours before seeing someone
I arrived at 9:30 a.m. as required in the message that I received from the doctor's office. I waited 2 hours before seeing the doctor. That is inexcusable for an appointment so early in the morning.
shorter wait time!
Best provider ever. He never rush me and he listen.
I waited in the waiting area for a hour and 20 min before being seen. Loved the provider but hater the wait time.
Had to wait 40min past appointment time to be seen.
I was there entirely too long. A fifteen minute appointment turned into a 2 and a half hour visit.
Very Friendly
Dr. Baig has real concern about his patients.
Dr Baig is not my PCP, who was (and typically is) unavailable for appointments to address immediate concerns. I waited to be seen for an hour past my scheduled appointment time. I gave a written list of my symptoms, concerns and contributing circumstances to Dr Baig and discussed them with him and with the attending nurse. In our meeting, I answered all of the doctors questions and was left to ask him to explain comments and recommendations that he gave. After visiting the lab for blood and urine samples, I asked whether an EKG had been ordered to investigate my complaint of persistent chest pain. There was none, despite my repeated descriptions of that symptom. At that point, I was told the doctor had left and his nurse was on lunch, but I could wait to find out more. I waited and a different nurse finally informed me that there was nothing in my chart that referenced chest pain. She asked if I would wait to be seen by Immediate Care - a separate appointment, presumably (I'd already been waiting, or in office for 3hrs) - but without a doctors order for an EKG or x-ray, I felt sure that my own request for either would not be covered by insurance. Again, I received no explanation to the contrary. Tired and disinclined to start over from the beginning, I left. I received a call this morning with the report that urine and blood reports came back normal. This person couldn't answer any of my questions concerning the above, nor tell me why the tests had been ordered. I intend to follow through with the abdominal/pelvic CT scan that the doctor ordered...for that part of the health concerns I brought to my appointment. Even so, I am concerned about the (delayed and) inattentive care I received in-office and I question my own purpose in doing so. I've been told in the past that the 4001 Vollmer location is understaffed and my recent experiences have been as good as confirmation of it. I would add grossly disorganized. It's only my fear of searching for a new doctor and finding similar results that keep me from it. I may yet resolve this conflict and actively seek the care I need elsewhere.
