Dr Unger is amazing. I am very happy with his care.
Intentional roadblocks to telehealth by Advent should be removed. When telehealth is appropriately used, it can be a benefit to both patient and provider. This is 2024. I have been told verbally by staff that I cannot use telehealth, had my ability to make telehealth appointments blocked, and had telehealth appointments canceled and substituted with in-person visits. The reason given is that Advent knows that the other shoe is going to drop any day when telehealth is no longer covered by insurance. In such event, Advent would be left with 10,000 telehealth appointments that it would need to convert to in-person visits. I think someone has an over-active imagination. There seems to be an obsession with rigid patient appointment arrival times with a 3 strikes and your out punishment. Advent is the only medical group I know of that does this and it is very patient unfriendly. I have received 2 warning letters from Advent and told my provider that I am on thin ice and awaiting my 3rd strike. It appears so likely that I will be prohibited from seeing my provider that I have developed an affiliation with another medical group so that I am ready when the time comes. If Advent is looking to substantial trim its patient population, it is on the right track.

waited over 30 minutes for blood draw due to staff shortage. given the size of this organization why is there no system in place to have additional staff in place when someone does not show up fot their shift.
I did not like the way doctor was not interested in listening my concerns
They were very helpful my Doctor wasn't there but some other doctor wa able to take her place saw me the day
Dr. Unger and his staff take very good care of us. So very happy he's our doc. Keeps us healthy.

It was my first time seeing this provider. I was little uneasy but seemed like this doctor listened and was friendly.
