Dr. Dantzer is great! as well as the team in the office. The nurse was kind enough to even check in to see how i was holding up after the stress of having a child in the ER and hospital. She said, how are you holding up? doing ok? it was so thoughtful and kind of her to ask and knowing it was a stressful time.
Dr. Dantzer and team always do a great job. I know it's chaotic when bringing two sick kids in at the same time. I appreciate the willingness to fit them both in at the last minute, at the end of the day!
Dr. Dantzer made his initial contact with me (the parent) and my daughter (the patient) via a phone call before entering the room. I understand his desire for an abundance of caution and prevention of the spread of illness but that simple decision on his part felt very strange and off-putting. We have seen Dr. Dantzer for over a decade, for my daughter's entire life. This is the first time he's ever called me on the phone while I was sitting in the building and down the hall from him. It made me and my daughter feel quite uncomfortable. It definitely decreased our ability to feel like he was giving the high level of care we are so used to from Dr. Dantzer. I was really disappointed by that part of my daughter's visit. Once he entered the patient room with us Dr. Dantzer's interactions were very positive and informative, just as they've always been. I hope he reconsiders his decision to make phone calls to parents of sick children who are sitting in the same building as him.
We love Dr. Dantzer!
Doctor told me that if I was late on another visit he could not guarantee he could see me. That was unnecessary. The care at advocate especially in the pediatric department has gone downhill.
Always adored Dr Dantzer. He's a wonderful pediatrician
Dr. Dantzer is wonderful. He's very easy to talk to. He's always been very good with our son. We've been going to him for several years.
Dr. Dantzer and staff are always very welcoming and attentive.
The triage nurse the night before said we definitely needed to come in. We had to park, call a number, talk to someone then go in as if we were in the height of the pandemic. Then before even seeing my son while on the phone the dr said "there's nothing we can do for him." How can you say this before even seeing the patient? This was the strangest dr experience ever!
Coming in the back door was kind of silly. She had earwax, not the plague.
