Our provider was awesome but a simple appointment took 2 hours.
Dr. Valena is wonderful. However, what is very frustrating is having to wait to get results for the X-rays. The technician said it could take up to a week. Had I known that before I got the X-rays, I would have gone someplace else.
Dr. Valena is an amazing human that also happens to be an amazing medical provider. I wish she wasn't so overworked but she always has a positive attitude regardless of the high demand of her work.

Dr. Valena is an amazing doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. She takes the time to listen to concerns and explain everything. We have been seeing her for more than 10 years. We recommend her to anyone that we know who is looking for a pediatrician. Her office staff is wonderful as well. They are kind and professional. Wait times are never an issue , which is greatly appreciated. Lastly, if one of my children is acutely ill, they have always gotten in to be seen same day.
We love Dr Valena but the wait time has been excessive.
I would highly recommend Dr. Valena to other parents; however, I do not care for Advocate's way of running the office. I preferred when it was an independent practice, and I haven't found a different pediatrician is completely because of Dr. Valena.
