I received varying information by different professionals in the orthopedics unit. I asked how long it takes to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery and I got anywhere from 1 to 2 days to 4 to 6 weeks. Maybe this is the problem of the fact that there is this wide range. But it really made planning very hard in terms of figuring out where I was going to stay and who is going to take care of me. Luckily I ended up being able to walk on the knee right away. So I didn't have those problems but I was pretty worried for a while about how long this was going to take. Maybe somebody just should've said anywhere from one day to six weeks, which is an absurdly long Time, but perhaps that's the truth.

Dr. Wichman has done both my knees two years ago so I have complete confidence is his decisions. Someone said I should get a second opinion but I said no need I have the best surgeon already.
