Not specific to my experience with this appointment but I was unaware of the policy of the risk of getting dropped as a patient if it's been more than 3 years since seeing a provider. I've been coming to this office for 30 years and it was never once mentioned, provided in writing, or given a heads up the time was coming up. It was very frustrating to attempt to schedule an appointment to be told they weren't sure I could because it had been a while since I've been in. I would highly recommend clear communication is put out to patients regarding this to avoid future issues when care is actually needed.
