This was the first visit that I have had with Dr. Fine that included a medical student. With other physicians, I was given a choice whether or not I was comfortable having a student in the room. This time I was not given the choice. During the course of the appointment, Dr. Fine answered my questions, but often directed the answers to the student. When I questioned or reminded him of information he had provided in the past, some of his responses seemed to be defensive, as if he were trying to "save face" in the presence of the student. I also found it odd that he did not provide a physical examination during this visit.
Dr. Marc Fine is an excellent physician specialist. I'm very fortunate to be his patient.
