Provider upon arrival stated "I don't think I can do anything for you" before even asking what was going on. As I tried to explain my pain and ongoing symptoms that I was concerned about she cut me off say "that's too much for today"....perhaps she wanted more immediate concerns, however had absolutely terrible bed side manner and was straight up rude. My symptoms are hard to detect if it's an infection or other cause and it has been impacting overall functioning and wellbeing, and wanted to at least rule out an infection, which I had to advocate for, as it seemed she was not going to provide this service. She did the exam so quickly, making me ask follow up questions about if iud strings were present. She made rude remarks during the process and even referred to me as a "urgent care frequent flyer". She scheduled an ultrasound appointment without a full dialogue or consent with this. She overall made me feel like an inconvenience and that I was wasting her time. In looking at my after visit summary the wrong concerns were listed on my sheet stating "lower back pain" though I wasn't sure if the back pain was related, it was not the main concern and was related to ongoing vaginal burning and lower abdominal cramping, which has been linked to yeast, bv or utis in the past and along with an iud seemed justified for me to be seeking care, even if everything came back fine.
