Very compassionate and educational. Mr. Veldhorst explains things very well and always offers websites, links and shows me how and where to get exactly what I need for my knee.
One thing I don't feel Kyle prepared me for was what to expect after I received the okay to begin bearing weight after 10.5 weeks of no weight bearing. As I quickly discovered, it wasn't simply a matter of walking with or without the boot. I continue to need the assistance of a walker. PT told me I will likely need a walker or support of some sort for two weeks. I left the ortho office feeling like there was something wrong because I couldn't bear full weight. Fortunately, PT told me what I'm experiencing is normal.
He was nice and did explain what I was there for and did it in a fashion could understand

Everyone in the department-from registration to x-ray to the PA to the doctor-was extremely approachable and welcoming. The people at the main entrance were also cheerful and helpful.
Wish I could understand the medical language better.
