It's sad & frustrating that you pretty much have to be your own health advocate anymore. All Drs seem to to care about is to prescribe medicine to tx symptoms of medical issue at hand but no concern about the underlying cause of the problem

I had a difficult time with dr Hanson during my annual physical. He was quite negative from the moment I started engaging with him, shutting down my side of the conversation often. I spent an extra 20 minutes in the patient room listening to dr Hanson lecture me about my career choices and telling stories that were completely irrelevant to my life and was not offered any opportunity to talk or give input which was extremely frustrating. I also did not appreciate being talked to as if I knew nothing about healthcare when in fact I also work in a healthcare setting.
