This appt with Dr. Soni was the only time I've had a doctor respectfully talk to me about weight loss. She did not make me feel shame - unfortunately a lot of doctors do. She explained that she addresses weight if your labs or symptoms show that there is a reason for concern. She explained the things that she thought my weight could be contributing to. She gave ideas on how I could get started without overwhelming me. She spent a lot of time with me and didn't make me feel rushed when I had questions.
