Dr. Karen Hegmann is an amazing physician. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and is always my first call for anything health related. Her "bed-side manner" is like no other - she's that good! She never seems rushed and she always makes you feel like all questions are welcomed plus she follows up on every request. She's not robotic and seems to relate to many situations and is very approachable. She's thorough and makes certain when you leave that everything has been answered. If she comes across something out of her wheelhouse she refers out to the appropriate docs for the best care. I only wish we had hundreds more Dr. Karen Hegmann's in the healthcare systems to make our health care world a better place. She's the best!!! And, other docs could learn a lot studying under her!

The only current issue I have with Aurora is the new issue of not accepting my health insurance. My wife, may family and I have been customers with you since 1987. As im now retired and as we United Health Plan we have been told you will not bill our insurance directly as we are on a limited plan. Despite multiple conversations with your billing group things have not improved, I have asked what insurance provider Aurora accepts but have been deferred to ask your insurance e company... less than a satisfactory answer.
