I recently was diagnosed with autoimmune Hashimoto's Thyroiditis by an independent integrative medicine doctor and also started HRT to treat perimenopause symptoms. Both my Aurora family doctor and Autora gynecologist compassionately listened to my chronic symptoms for years but neither one was able to diagnose the root cause of my ailments or prescribe a treatment (other than suggestions of antidepressants). I'm disappointed about tradicional medicine practice.
