Dr. Pollastrini excels at communicating health information in context. By context I mean interpreting test results as parts of a bigger picture of one's whole health record and history. Context also means addressing health concerns in proportion. In other words, he takes my health concerns seriously even if they are not that concerning from a medical provider's perspective. When my blood work showed an abnormal value, Dr. Pollastrini proactively committed to contacting a specialist on my behalf instead of putting that responsibility on me as the patient. That level of service from a primary care provider exceeded my expectations because I didn't feel like I was going on a wild goose chase.

This was a friendly and warm visit. If I hadn't prepared myself for the fasting and lab work, I would not have known. When they called to remind me of the appointment they did not tell me to fast.
This provider is very personable, but I think he has a huge caseload. I'm wondering if I would be better with an older care physician he always seems to be rushed, even though he listens.
