My appointment was for the doctor to see some skin changes on my chest and neck area. When I got there, I was offered a full upper body skin check which I accepted. Unfortunately, that meant I needed to remove my make up and when the check was being done, the doctor made sure to flip around my hair and check my scalp. If I can be told not to wear deodorant prior to a mammogram appointment, I think it would be a nice service to give ladies (before an appointment) telling us we may not want to wear make up or fix our hair because of what the doctor needs to do as part of his job. The appointment seemed a bit rushed, very little eye contact with the doctor. He came in and did his job, and that's all well and good. Even with the nurse beforehand, just trying to joke around there was very little room for anything that might lighten the mood or just make for a fun appointment. I understand the time crunch since it took me months and months to get into see this dermatologist. And my appointment was maybe at the most 10 minutes long, I don't think it hurts to just have some lighthearted conversation.
