She has a wonderful personality.

I wish Dr/ Akhtar would have spent a few more minutes lpreviewing my records from the past 8-9 months. I was there mostly for a visual field check, but lots had happened since my such check, most of which actually involved her. I still had concerns that needed to be discussed. She did take time to listen and she did respond appropriately and spent the time needed. I did appreciate that.

ALL WENT VERY WELL, AND EVERYONE IS SO VERY NICE

The after visit summary includes a page with a title block that says "Test results in Livewell". The second paragraph says "be aware that these results are written for medical documentation and communication and are not summarized for people without medical training." While much material may be over the head of the patient, I think you should give the patient the opportunity to see the material. They may do some homework after what can these days be a very short visit in the office. In my own case I can think of material that would I like to have gone over with me during my next visit. In this case it would be the results of previous visual field tests. I don't believe it is available in the Livewell test area, but it was the primary purpose of today's office visit

Very good at explaining the tests and results. Professional, yet personable. Felt very comfortable during visit.

Dr. Jihan Akhtar is very knowledgeable and has excellent communications skills. I highly recommend her to friends and family. In fact, my wife sat in on my last visit and was so impressed, that she is now planning to see Dr. Akhtar for most of her vision needs.
