The prenatal appointments always feel like they are rushed. I would like it if the providers could slow down and spend a little more time listening.

I think we need to talk more about PP anxiety/depression more instead of worrying about what birth control to choose from.

The MA should open up my medical record first instead of just running through the standard list of questions. I had a hysterectomy. I don't like the question about my period because it's not applicable. There needs to be an understanding that this is a sensitive topic and I should not be treated the same and to take my feelings into consideration. I also don't understand why I need to answer the questionnaire ahead of my appointment and then go through the same exact information for the MA. That is not efficient. If that is required then communicate that, eg thank you for completing the information ahead of time. Let's go through it together to confirm there are no changes (or based on the date I completed the information I don't have to go through it again like less than a week.). I liked the NP but I did not like the MA. She was not personable or easy to talk to. She was just being a robot and going through questions. I didn't feel like a person. Going to the doctor is not something I look forward to so I appreciate it when I'm treated like a person and I'm listened to.
