My complaint is how long it takes to get into doctors at advocate it is not right

One thing did not like to see or hear about is finding quicker ways for doctors to spend time with you, even though you say to spend more time. The laptop voice recognition. Doctors should spend time with their patients, if that's what we need, should not be a money or about how many patients they get in. Unless it's not the doctors, but the facilities. What happened to the old school doctor patient relationship, we meant something, not just a number or money.

I'm very satisfied with Dr. Crane and have seen her for several years. What I'm UNHAPPY with is how I'm hearing from other people about how poorly Advocate is treating their doctors. Severely limiting time with patients, especially those with complicated diagnosis, having the surgeons in Orthopaedics, ENT, Oncology, etc. switch from providing for their LOCAL patients LOCALLY at Rush Copley or Ascension Mercy to Good Samaritan is absurd. The time it takes to travel from my home to Good Samaritan is about an hour with considerable traffic as opposed to 15 minutes to Copley. I for one, will be looking for my other caregivers outside of Advocate. Someone on the business side is not doing the patients any favors.
