Aurora is the best when it comes to specialized care. I've been to nearly all of them but Aurora always seems to put me at ease when it comes to otherwise anxious feeling procedures. From check in staff to the specialist, it's always a hassle free experience.
When I called to schedule the appointment, I repeated and confirmed that my appointment was at 7:45 and I was supposed to be there at 7:30. When I checked in, the receptionist snarkily said, running late this morning aren't you? I was like....no, my appointment is at 7:45 and it's not 7:45. She then told me my appointment was at 7:30 with arrival time of 7:15. The double times seem to mess everyone up. I'm not sure why these times did not match what I was told on the phone when I scheduled the appointment . The receptionist said, she "guessed" they could still see me. She should work on her people skills as I did not need that level of snark on my arrival. Especially as I've showed up for previous Aurora appointments before the "arrival" time only to not be seen until 20 minutes after my "appointment" time. I also have an important job I need to get back to and sitting around a waiting room for long periods of time is not a good use of my time. I wait patiently and don't snark to staff. This is not the first time that the times I was told when I scheduled on the phone don't match when I showed up on site. It would be nice if there was more ability to schedule online without needing to call in. It would also be nice to just check in electronically especially as I had already pre checked in.
Jenna answered all the questions and concerns I had and was extremely professional.
I am having some health issues that are taking some time to figure out. Jenna was the one doctor who listened to my issue and took the initiative to find a solution. She has helped me with appts for tests, talked to other doctors I need to see and made me feel like this issue will be eventually be resolved. I am so grateful I made an appt with her. She is a terrific doctor and I would definitely tell others to come to her with their problems.
