The Dr always seems to be in a rush and as a GP it seems he is limited more and more as to what he can do for me in the visit. I realize there are some economic drivers involved here but my recommendation is to the leadership. Remember that you are servicing People and connecting with people is extremely critical to successful care. Give your Drs an additional 5 minutes to spend with the patients they see and yup their billable will go down but patient satisfaction will go up and the quality of care will also increase and they may be able to catch other issues regarding their patients health that can result in more services.
