Dr Cheema was kind and helpful. She paid attention to what I was saying and offered suggestions. However, the staff person who checked me in was chomping on gum which I find unprofessional and disturbing. She was talking with the other staff at the desk and neglected to mention my co pay or ask if I wanted to pay it. I had to come back after my appointment and wait 15 minutes for someone to take my payment. I have stopped doing the online pre-appointment check-ins because whenever I'm at an Advocate location multiple staff are joking and laughing amongst themselves. Why should I waste my time doing their jobs for them when they obviously have plenty of time on their hands? Things at Advocate appear to be very lax lately.
