This provider Jaime Novales is pleasant with me and my children. She's very professional and very hands on with my children. She's very knowledgeable and is calm and patient with children. She's very approachable and understanding I like her as a provider and I am glad I chose her to care for my children's health.

Dr. Novales is the very best! I recommend her to everyone I know! Advocate is very fortunate to have a doctor like her on staff!

The only issue I had was trying to get an apt for my son to be seen. I called and got a sick visit apt for 2.5 weeks later. When I asked why I could not get a sick child to be seen sooner I was told to go to urgent care. I kept the apt and attempted to go to urgent care the next day. My son is out of school at 1pm and we went straight there only to find they were not taking anymore patients because there were already backed up through 5 pm. When my son was still sick the following day I called and had to ask to speak to an RN or MD because I felt it was appalling that I could not get in the have my sick child seen. I have been going to this pediatrician for 23 yrs, my kids are rarely sick and it is disturbing then when I need their services, I am unable to get them without being extremely assertive.

Everything was great except my appointment started 30 behind schedule. I work during the day, and had to take more time out of my schedule.
