Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Very trusting.
The doctor was great, but the nurse/medical assistant we had that day did the following: Didn't take his height Asked him if he was still taking amoxicillin for pain (it was an old prescription but I feel like that's a commonly known antibiotic?) Used the pulse ox finger clip to take his pulse. It was high, but she wrote it down anyway. The doctor asked her to retake it because it was high, so she did, but it was still high. I had him use his apple watch, which showed a much more accurate pulse, and suggested that the tool she was using was broken. She didn't take a manual pulse- which I would think would be the right thing to do there, and instead, tried with the pulse ox finger clip a few more times, before eventually just writing down what his watch said. It just didn't feel accurate or the right way to do it. I felt concerned that she didn't know how to take a pulse manually. Overall her demeanor and missteps above did not give me confidence that she knew what she was doing.
It was my first time, everything was fine.
treated well by every one
