Over the past couple of years or so my PCP have apparently had personal issues whereby some of my appointments were unexpectedly canceled, then I had to reschedule, wait, or be passed on to apparently an associate physician. This made me feel a bit slighted and or that I would have been better served had I went to an ER where I would have likely received supplemental attentiveness, information, and a collective effort regarding my care - due to the team effort that seems to exist in such an environment. Since their routine seems more vital.
I have with Dr. Girma Assefa for over 30years!!! this should tell you all that I love his work & whatever he tells me to improve my health I does it Thank You Dr. Girma Assefa for taking care of me over 30years!!!
Dr. Assefa has been excellent through the years he has been my PCP. I can ask him about any area of my health and he assists/helps me to understand, get resources, and be able to handle my health care and medical needs. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Assefa to family, friends, and others. He is professional, knowledgeable, competent, listens, and assists as needed or requested.

He suggested I see a bone doctor about hip replacement. I want to continue doing other steps before deciding on surgery for now, and the next few months.

Dr. Assefa is very thorough in his examinations. He listens to my comments and concerns and he keeps me informed of any tests that I need to make appointments for along with any referrals that I made need.
