you are measuring a facet of your operation that would be heard to improve. You should be looking at your accounts receivable area, more specifically the programming of your receivable system. I have constant problems with follow ups on co-pays. The system does not match payments for co-pays to the clinic against the receivable set up. The result is that I pay a co-pay, the system creates a receivable and generates an invoice, I pay the invoice at the insistence of receivables later, the system generates a refund check that I cash. This can repeat several times.
