I asked for specified blood tests and I was refused. Fasting Insulin and Peptide C test. My doctor does not understand the Carnivore Diet and should have been a little more open. A better answer would have been that that would be fine but Insurance will not cover this. I would have paid for it. Aurora needs to promote healthy eating (low Carb, no processed foods) instead of taking pills once diabetic. . I know this is less profitable for Aurora but best for patients. Other than that, Dr. Khan is a good guy and I like seeing him. Healthy living is just better for patient's than managing illness caused by poor lifestyle. I hope that this was helpful.

This was my first time seeing Dr Khan. He was thorough, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was very comfortable seeing him as my regular provider was unavailable. I would not hesitate to do so again.
