Dena and her team are incredible! No one likes to go to the doctor but, as usual, this experience was great. Dena and her team are amazing, and i am so happy she is there to take care of my health needs!!

I feel Dena Horvath is no longer listening to her patients. And, it seems she has more interest in making you money than addressing her patient's concerns. Whereas my appointment was to address the anti-depressants that I have been prescribed, which I do not feel have been working for a long time, I feel her lack of addressing my concerns and blaming it on my diet (referral to one of your nutritionists) , exercise and 'screen time" really missed the issue. Further, she dismissed my concern of being somewhere on the autism spectrum ("You're not autistic") and telling me I need to be assessed for ADHD (referral to one of your behavioral therapists), further missed the issue. Yes, I have gained weight, but I think that is the side effect of the depression, not that the weight gain has caused the depression. I just do not think Dena is giving the time to her patients any longer, and the two other members in my household that have Dena for a primary care person are feeling the same, so I know that I am not imagining this, or that it is due to me being unhappy with this last visit. This is the cumulation of what has become slowly declining healthcare. Either Dena is too limited on her time with her patients, or as I said before is required to rack up the bill, or a combination of the both, because I know when Dena started with Aurora, she did care deeply about her patients. Such a shame that such a talented individual would sacrifice their talents for the opportunity to please an employer, if that is the case. Previously to this visit I was seen in Urgent Care due to a different issue, to which the "doctor" put in a referral to a specialty doctor. (And I emphasize "doctor" here as this was a state licensed medical doctor, and not NP or a PA, employed by you.) However, before I would be allowed to see the specialist, I was contacted by Dena Horvath's office, telling me that I would need to schedule an appointment with Dena first. Interestingly, Dena is an NP, and obviously Aurora either employs substandard doctor's in their Urgent Care, that they know even less with a medical degree than an NP does, OR, Aurora has more interest in racking up the bill than taking care of the patient. I am getting to that point where I am contemplating moving out of the Aurora Healthcare System as I think that I need to become more proactive with my healthcare. Especially now, when a doctor's appointment has become a major purchase, I think one may need to address the quality of care that the dollar is buying.

Dena is a caring provider who always listens and takes my concerns seriously. She is so kind and easy to talk to, and I always leave my appointments with her feeling like I am in control of my health and well-being. I recommend her highly.
