My appointment was rushed and my most important concerns were not addressed- at least 2 of which they were notified about in advance when I made the appointment. I stated my list of concerns to my nurse - 4 total, which she recorded in the computer. When Dr. Bensi came in she did a nice job of going over my bloodwork with me and then addressed 2 of my concerns, but was becoming increasingly rushed. There was a hasty exam and she began to leave the room like she was late for a train. When I asked about my remaining 2 questions she said there was no possibility of addressing those today, I would have to schedule another appointment, a quick goodbye and left the room. I was almost in tears, the concerns I had been stressing about were completely disregarded. And I felt like I was abusing the clinics time. The nurse started my notes at 12:18 and by 1 I was downstairs waiting for a test. I very much doubt my I was in the room longer that 20min total including wait time, which is asinine. I don't blame Dr. Bensi for this, although I think this was an example of poor bedside manner. I blame the conveyor belt that is modern medicine. I am so upset by this that I am looking for alternative providers and health care systems.
