Wonderful physician she listened and made insightful recommendation's.
Dr seems robotic when talking with you like she is referencing a script. Does not feel genuine, rather than making sure she completes steps to a process rather than take the time to actually talk with a patient or actually listen to their heart/breathing. She moves the stethoscope around your chest and back faster than you take a deep breath and doesn't think it is necessary to perform an EKG anymore. She did fulfill my request for a podiatrist and offered a referral to a nutritionist. Medical staff taking blood does not listen to you when you ask them to use a smaller needle as your a hard blood draw and instead has to poke you twice without success and call in the nurse, who automatically chooses the smaller needle. My arm is so bruised by the terrible trials and the lack of understanding the patient and what was requested after many years of having this situation. Unacceptable in my opinion. I understand that I am a hard draw, but LISTEN to the patient. (I wish I could send a picture of what my arm looks like, as this is the worst I have ever had brusing. When results are given for bloodwork, Dr summarizes some of the information that can be seen on the portal, but offers no concern about certain tests that are borderline low, etc. nor does she explain what they are. It used to be that you received a call regarding the results and they would recommend solutions and allow for questions. Now everything is a back and forth on a portal. Patient care is obviously more about a business model than catering to an actual human being. Telling someone they need to lose weight is obvious to someone who is aware of their situation.

Some of the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but by reading other reviews, it's just her personality. Additionally, when I asked if I could quickly speak to her about recurring allergies (not the reason I booked the appointment, though a quick question), she insisted she could not help and I needed to schedule a physical to discuss. The office is literally booked out months, so this is super disappointing.
Dr Weiss is thorough. She engages in conversation and listens to the patient. She understands how all my different ailments interact and I feel comfortable talking with her.
Dr Debbie Weiss is a terrific doctor. She is honest and caring. She explains things in terms I can understand.
