Excellent explanation and great use of visual aids showing the PET scan and Ct to inform us of what we are dealing with. Being open to surgical options to conserve tissue and maintain quality of life.
The provider was nonchalant and kept shrugging his shoulders. I didn't feel like he cared about caring for me. He stated he didn't know why I was referred to him and that he couldn't do anything for me. I don't know why I had to waste my time and take off work to come in and have him tell me that. I had to ask if PT would help and he shrugged his shoulders and said I guess you could try, it wouldn't hurt. He had no solutions and didn't make an effort to try to find something else for me to do. Very frustrating and felt like a worthless appt that wasted my time and money.
I very much appreciate the expediancy with which my case was handled.
Nurse assistant who took my vitals was bizarre. She asked me, what my height was? She asked my weight, then eventually just took it. She asked if I smoke everyday. She seemed put off, not that friendly is my over all take.
Felt very good about my decision to have surgery.
