Dr. Olmstead was fair in terms of my exam. While he didn't give me much information or share much Abt my reasoning for coming in; he assured me that as long as I stay active I should be fine. However; his MA(not sure of her name) could use a lesson in patient care. I adv as she was taking my BP & even after it was done that a cuff too small would give an inaccurate read since I have large biceps. She did not even after taking it attempt to try on the opposite arm with a larger cuff. Instead she sighed heavily & slammed the door as she left the room. I informed Dr. Olmstead of the incident & at the end of my exam; he retook my pressure & the read was significantly less than the 1st. He even stated that.

Dr Olmstead is not my primary care Doctor but I felt that my care was managed well. He prescribed some diagnostic tests and advised me about what to do if I had additional concerns. I appreciated that an appointment was available quickly and that it was not a " virtual" visit.

Dr Olmstead is the best. I have been with him for so many years. He knows how to treat just about any condition. I will be sad when he decides to retire.
