I wasn't impressed with my physical exam. It was a new patient visit but also was my yearly physical. I wasn't even asked to put on a gown and he did not even do a complete exam. I've never had a routine physical as an adult where a routine breast exam was not done (until now). He did not seem interested at all in my medical history and was not concerned about anything that I may have going on at this time. I was told that if I had any concerns I would have to make an appt. for that because this was my wellness exam. Well, it was also a "get established with my new doctor exam". How do you get established with a new doctor when you are not even asked about your medical history and how things are going with your current conditions? Aurora's policy of not allowing patients to talk to their physician about anything concerning you during their routine physical is absolutely absurd. I may just start looking for a new doctor outside of the Aurora system. If this is the new way of medical care in all health systems then this is a very sad day.
