Most people quit jobs because all the extra requirements that continually stack up and make accomplishing the work more and more difficult. It is easy to see the burden this puts on your caregivers. The only way it seems to fix this is by losing customers because the administration doesn't seem to care how much time a doctor or their staff has to spend documenting their work. I was asked if the doctor could record our appointment for record keeping purposes. I had to say no due to ownership of that data and how much of a security risk it such data is for me the patient. While the doctor may just use it for record keeping. That data is owned by Aurora Health with no limits expressed on how it can be used, how it is kept or even if that data is covered under HIPAA. Please do better to inform your patients about exactly how this data is kept, used and what recourse patients have if it is ever used in a deleterious way. Please start providing cost information about services up front. I will not authorize any work without knowing the cost anymore.
