I spent more time with the medical assistant than I did with the doctor. The doctor came in, introduced herself and asked me a couple of questions. I informed her that I was here to establish care and get an annual exam. I've had annual exams and this one was subpar at best. The 'exam' was her touching my stomach in two parts, listening to my chest and back, and getting bloodwork done. There were things that I informed the medical assistant that I had that the doctor did not mention. The doctor was with me for maybe 10 minutes (and that's being generous) and said it was nice to meet you before getting up to leave. I was honestly flabbergasted and said wait let me make sure we talked about everything on my list. I would not recommend her at all nor will I be continuing care with her. Frankly, I felt uncomfortable afterwards and almost like I was wasting her time or I wasn't worth her time. The medical assistant was great but the doctor was horrible. What is the point of making an appointment, taking time off work, to then be treated by the doctor like your past health or your concerns are just not worth their time. And on top of that, I'm pretty sure annual exams and establishing yourself as a patient are meant to take longer than the 10 minutes she was with me.
