Dr. Spanik is both personable and professional. She listens well. Most importantly, she took action immediately when I've had various health problems.

Dr. Spanik is thorough in her examination and spends the appropriate amount of time with me as a patient. She always listens to me and I feel extremely well cared for.

I really appreciate having the time to go through all my concerns. She's super nice and comfortable to talk to and she was very thorough in inspecting me to make sure I was okay with things like skin cancer. My only concern is that she is so busy that she's tough to schedule with. Hopefully, Advocate can hire more internists so if I need to schedule she will have time to see me. Please understand that health needs can be scheduled on one hand, like my annual Medicare physical that I just had, but other health issues pop up unexpectedly and I need it to be not be so difficult to schedule with Dr. Spanik when need be.

My visit with Dr. Spanik went really well, as usual; she informed me about available things (flu shots, tests I needed to catch up on, etc) and answered my questions as well. Spent plenty of time with me ... things went wonderfully! Even when I went to get my blood drawn the guy who did so was so skilled I didn't even know he was "in!" Total win-win morning for me!???

I really like Dr. Spanik and have a lot of confidence in her. My only complaint, which is not her fault, is how difficult it is to get into her. She has a large patient load and is booked up for weeks for a sick visit and Is 3 months out for a routine physical.
