Loved this surgeon, the nurse practioner and the nurse in the room. Everyone made me feel at ease. The procedure went great

First time with this Dr. She and her staff exceptional.

I'm so glad she had time to see me and do the surgery all in one day.

The doctor is not my primary care physician therefore there was no need to go into other possible concerns other than that for what I had the appointment.

Dr. Appel and her team treated me with dignity and respect. I felt at ease with asking any question I might have had and all of my questions were answered without attitude. Great MD and team of nurses. I would highly recommend. A note to Aurora management: Please do not make your MD's work as hospitalists while having to see their patients as well. Yes it can be done but I would not have been to pleased if the MD was called away. Especially if I had taken off of work for my appointment.

Dr. Appel gave me a full explaination that I had a large hernia which needed repair and showed me how the surgery would repair it and my options for the repair. Dr. Appel was very patient with me as she answered my questions.

It was the first time I met Dr. Appel she is a wonderful doctor she took time to go over everything with us. I am very happy with her.
