It was my first time to that facility. I liked the initial reception who was friendly and helped me find the floor and ortho desk. When I said the doctors name she knew exactly where I needed to go. The woman at the ortho desk who checked me in was clear on what I needed to do next and what I needed to fill out on the form. The woman that took my xrays was gentle with me due to my pain and I really appreciated that extra care she provided. Dr. Knight was knowledgeable on my knee and what was needed to gain my mobility back. He showed me my MRI and x-rays showing the issue and we were all happily surprised at the cartilage space on both knees for my age. We have a plan, I feel really comfortable with this plan and I am going to work at getting my mobility back.

When I originally made the appointment, I told them that I wanted to talk about not only my knees, which I did during the visit, but also my hips and leg and lower back. However, they said that I could only list one thing for the visit, so I said my knees because that is what I was having trouble with most recently. I would have liked to have had, in addition to my knees, x-rays of my hips and lower back, and been able to address all of these issues during the visit. I don't really see why I should have been restricted to talking about arthritis in only one area of my body. However, I don't think that this is the fault of the physician, but rather I think that this is the fault of whoever established the appointment policies.

Dr Knight is a highly skilled knowledgeable physician/surgeon who possess a friendly warm nature that both calms and assures you that you are in the hands of exactly the right medical professional.
