Dr. Vijayakumar is an amazing physician. I take pride in living a wholesome life and she has guided me on a healthy path by listening to my concerns and providing medical advise with a proven approach that has enhanced my health. She is honestly the best physician I have had as a patient. Although I have moved far from the clinic, it is worth traveling the distance to maintain this healthy provider-patience relationship. An amazing physician is one who tentatively listens to their patients concerns and utilize their experience and experts to share medical awareness and guidance--that is the reflection of Dr. Vijayakumar . A model physician.
Appointment was on time. Friendly staff. Able to answer questions. Thorough considering the vague symptoms. Highlighted health summary with phone numbers easy to find. Doctor cared about making sure I completed lab work and posted comments on labs right away.
Courtesy to me. Listen patiently and tell me what I should know about diuretic pills which is the cause of less sodium in my blood test therefore doctor stopped the pill.
Very good and definitely care about her patients.

This was my first visit to Dr. Vijayakumar so there is no point to the question of someone speaking to me in the past.
Dr. Vijayakumar was a great listener, and very thorough in her desire to help get to the root of my health issues. I felt that ALL of my concerns were important to her. While other doctors can easily brush off my symptoms as simple weight gain, aging, and lifestyle issues, Dr. Vijay did not do that and did not leave me feeling unheard. She was compassionate and wanted to be thorough and rule out other issues first, and I'm very happy with the way she handled my care. I will continue to see her as my PCP and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great doctor.
