Dr. Goel is a wonderful doctor who has an answer for all my questions
Very satisfied with the way the doctor listened to me, took her time to ponder options and discuss them with me. She really cares about my health.
Having a pre op appointment for 1:20 I sat in room waiting 1 hour and 8 minutes before I was seen...I know Doctors are busy but I wasn't even given update.I thought that was inconsiderate .

Instructions on my zoom call asked me to be on the call at 2:05 PM which I was. It says the doctor would be ready at 2:20 to stay available online which I did . The doctor still did not attend the call and the verbiage on the screen says if you have to wait more than 30 minutes hang up and call for a new appointment which I did but the doctors staff said she's just coming out of the room with a patient. She'll be right with you. I proceeded to wait an additional 15 minutes or so before she was able to join the call. I was taking this call on my lunch. It ended up taking an hour and a half before I was done so I lost a substantial amount of pay. I do appreciate the amount of time the doctor does spend with me the patient but when we are told to anticipate a particular wait time and it goes beyond double that amount it is very disrespectful of my time. Things are tight enough financially, let alone getting docked some pay because the doctor was unable to join me at the stipulated amount of time on the zoom instructions and an additional amount of time on top of that from the staff member on the phone. Again I appreciate the doctors time, I was respectful and on time for my appointment and would appreciate the same courtesy in return.
I've been seeing Dr. Goel for close to 10 years. She is good and caring.

Would've liked more discussion/attempt to treat root cause(s) of my issue, not just medication. But I know that probably doesn't happen in a 20-min office visit.
Dr. Goel is a wonderful doctor! She both converses and listens. Dr. Goel is patient and kind. She really listens and explains thing very clearly. I have had a lot of wonderful experiences with Advocate doctors and staff. Dr. Goel is a fine example of a caring doctor!
