Received a call a few days before my Wellness visit telling me to make a lab appointment. Called and made a lab appointment for the day of the Wellness visit. Checked in but lab didn't have the visit scheduled. They needed to contact the doctor. If a lab visit is standard procedure, which it has been for every Physical Exam and Wellness visit, why isn't the lab automatically scheduled at the same time the wellness visit is made rather than have to go through the scheduling process a second time?

I was asked to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment. I waited one hour for the appointment I had to go ask what was going on. They could have called me to let me know they were running an hour behind.
